Grant Rish

Grant Rish was born and raised in Port St. Joe, Florida. With strong roots in the Forgotten Coast area, Grant is the sixth generation of the Rish family to call Port St. Joe home. He takes great pride in his beloved hometown, and his passion for the area shines through in his work.

After graduating from high school in 2010, Grant accepted a golf scholarship to the University of North Georgia, where he went on to be selected as a team captain. Grant graduated with a degree in Business Management from North Georgia. He returned to northwest Florida to work with Preble-Rish Civil Engineering, where he oversaw the company’s Business Development department.

In 2016, Grant moved to Fairhope, Alabama to join 68 Ventures, a real estate development company with a stellar reputation. Each year, 68 Ventures develops more than 1,000 lots on the Gulf Coast. Thanks to his hard work and determination, Grant eventually worked his way up to Vice President of 68 Ventures. At the same time, Grant also worked with a home building operation under the 68 Ventures umbrella—Truland Homes, which closes approximately 300 homes per year. Always the perfectionist, Grant was heavily involved in seeing each of these developments through from start to finish to ensure each product exceeded expectations.

In 2019, Grant decided to move back to his cherished hometown of Port St. Joe, where he established Rish Real Estate Group with his family. When he’s not at the office, on the road, or helping clients, Grant enjoys playing golf, being outdoors and spending time with his family and friends.

Jay Rish

Jay Rish is a founding partner of Rish Real Estate Group. A third-generation broker, Jay also leads a family business founded in 1965. His brokerage, Gulf Coast Real Estate Group, leads the way in sales volume and transactions in the local market, with over 800 million in total sales. This is a result of careful preparation, local insight, years of experience, a dedicated staff and superior marketing.

Licensed since 1992, Jay has worked in the Port St. Joe, Cape San Blas and Mexico Beach market for more than 26 years. He has brokered, consulted and personally developed scores of local and regional development projects.

Jay is extremely active in the local community. He has served on the Port St. Joe and Gulf County Planning and Development Boards, Tourist Development Council (TDC), Economic Development Council (EDC), banking board and numerous Homeowners Association boards. Outside of work, Jay enjoys spending time with his family, enjoying the outdoors and staying involved with his church.

Jessica S. Rish

Jessica S. Rish is a founding partner of Rish Real Estate Group. A native of Southwest Georgia, Jessica obtained her bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia, double majoring in Finance and Management. At UGA, she was a member of the Phi Mu Alpha Alpha chapter.

After graduating from college, Jessica launched her career with a sales marketing management company in Atlanta. In this position, she interacted with large corporate clients as well as regional and local companies in a variety of industries from coast to coast. This challenging sales career allowed Jessica to finely hone her interpersonal skills.

In 2006, Jessica relocated to Florida, where she began to pursue real estate construction and development opportunities in the Gulf County and Mexico Beach areas. Since that time, Jessica has enjoyed great success with a variety of development projects, brokerage operations and other investment opportunities. For the past 8 years, she has served on the Port Saint Joe Port Authority.

Jessica has been married to Jay Rish since 2008, and they are the proud parents of two young boys, Max and Thomas. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys spending quality time with her kids and family and enjoying the vast beauty and outdoor activities the local area affords.

Erin Johnson

Erin Johnson is a Port St. Joe native with a great appreciation of our coastal community and its surrounding areas. An active member in the community, Erin enjoys giving back to the community that helped shape her into the woman she is today.

A graduate of Troy University, Erin majored in Risk Management and Insurance where she was heavily involved in business organizations where she began building her insurance portfolio. Upon graduation, Erin began her career in insurance where she learned all facets of the industry including claims, brokerage and production.

After spending years in Jacksonville, FL Erin and her husband Christian have moved back to Port St. Joe where they are now raising their daughter, Stella. Erin will bring a new way of thinking and we know her insurance background will bring a new perspective to our firm and help better serve our customers.
