Julie Gardner
Julie Gardner has always had an eye for homes, not just the way they’re built or styled, but the life that unfolds within them. Her passion for real estate began nearly 20 years ago, sparked by her aunt who was a Realtor. As a single mother of two, it wasn’t the right time to dive in, but the dream never left her. In 2017, she finally took the leap, enrolled in real estate school, and hasn’t looked back since.
Julie’s journey is deeply rooted in Mexico Beach. Raised in Georgia, she grew up visiting the area with family, and her husband’s ties to the coast go back to the 1960s. When they first started dating, they made the trip to Mexico Beach every weekend, every holiday, and any chance they could. One day, after packing up to head back home, she looked at him and said, “Why can’t we just live here?” The rest, as she puts it, is history.
Today, Julie brings that same heart and clarity to her clients, whether they’re wide-eyed first-time buyers, quick-moving investors, or retirees ready to relax and enjoy the fruits of their labor. “Each one brings something different,” she says. “I love helping someone start a new chapter, whether it’s their forever home or a stepping stone to something more.”
Her approach is grounded in patience, practical advice, and a deep understanding of her market. She loves using her real estate app to help clients unfamiliar with the area feel more informed and in control and she’s always learning. “Every deal teaches you something new,” she says. “Pairing up with experienced agents and staying open to growth is the best way to thrive in this industry.”
Julie knows her community inside and out. Whether it's Port St. Joe or her beloved Mexico Beach, she’s quick to share the little things that make this coast so special, like kids riding bikes freely, neighbors watching out for each other, and even city workers moving packages when it rains. “It’s a small-town feel with a big heart,” she says. “You feel safe here. People care.”
At the end of the day, Julie considers it a privilege to sell something this beautiful and to serve a community that still believes in looking out for one another. That’s the life she built for herself and that’s the life she’s proud to help others find, too.
