Julie Gardner believes a home is more than a place, it’s where memories are made, and life unfolds.
Nearly 20 years ago, Julie’s interest in real estate was sparked by her aunt, a realtor who inspired her early passion for the industry, but as a single mother of two, the timing wasn’t right. “It just wasn’t the right season of life, but the dream never left me.” In 2017, she finally made it happen, enrolling in real estate school and launching the career she had always envisioned.
Julie’s story is one deeply tied to Mexico Beach. Raised in Georgia, she spent her childhood visiting the area with her family. Her husband’s connection to the coast dates back even further, his family’s roots here go all the way to the 1960s. When the two first started dating, they visited Mexico Beach every weekend, holiday, and chance they could. Then one day, after packing up to head back home, Julie looked at him and said, “why can’t we just live here?”
That moment changed everything.

Today, Julie channels that same sense of clarity into her work with buyers and sellers across the coast. Whether she’s helping a first-time buyer or assisting retirees, she brings a personal touch to every transaction. “Each client brings something different,” she says. “I love helping someone start a new chapter, whether it’s their forever home or just the next step in their journey.”
Julie’s approach is rooted in patience and a genuine love for the area. She uses tools like her personalized real estate app to help clients feel confident, especially those new to the region, and she’s a firm believer that the learning never stops. “Every deal teaches you something new. I love teaming up with seasoned agents and staying open to growth, it’s the best way to keep thriving in this business.”
From Port St. Joe to Mexico Beach, Julie knows her community inside and out. It’s the small things she notices most, the charm that makes the area so special. “Kids ride their bikes around freely. Neighbors look out for each other. I’ve seen city workers carry people’s packages to their porch when it’s raining,” she says. “It’s a small-town feel with a big heart. You just feel safe here. People genuinely care.”
Julie considers it an honor to share this coastal way of life with others, helping them feel the same sense of peace and belonging that first drew her in, and she’s ready to help you find that feeling too.
